Beautiful Scars

"Scars remind us where we've been. They don't have to dictate where we're going."

I've been thinking a lot about this. Everyone has scars from the past. However, they cannot stop us from living our life. I believe that scars build character. It takes a lot of courage to get up and move on, especially after going through a hard time. I always admire those people who went through some pretty terrible things and yet they are the kindest people I know. They won't let their past dictate where they are going. I will not let my scars dictate my future. I will always have a bright future, regardless of where I have been.
