Happy Friday everyone! I hope you are enjoying your day so far! I've been working since 7:45 this morning, but that's totally fine. You wanna know why? Because it's Friday and I am working at the AF drive-up. You know what that means, right? I get to wear my bank shirt, jeans, and tennis shoes instead of the usual professional attire. Happy day! Other perks include snacking all day, listening to the radio, and looking outside the window. And it's always busier out here than it is in the lobby, so it makes the day go by faster! Awesome. Possum.
What are your weekend plans? I've got a pretty relaxed weekend ahead of me. The most exciting event is tomorrow. My dear niece Kara is getting baptized! [Insert squeal here.] I'm so excited and proud of her! The little miss turned 8 on Monday. How exciting is that?! I got her an awesome birthday gift! (Best part about being an aunt: spoiling the little children!) It will be good to get together with the whole family as well. I miss them so much!
So I used to be a fanatic of Pinterest, but then it died for about three months. Lately, I have found myself logging on and looking at recipes. I don't pin anything, I just look. I don't understand the point of pinning items, if I'm never going to look at them again. But I love the recipes that people post. I've made a few things from Pinterest and I have never been disappointed. I do like to look at other things like the diy or home/organization ideas, but I just love the recipes the most.
