End of a chapter

Once again, it's that time of year where summer is quickly coming to a close.
Cleaning Checks are finally here.
People are moving out.
People are moving in.
I'm dreading the scheduled days.
I have no idea who my new roommates will be.
I've got a new calling, in a new presidency, with a new relief society.
I don't know what to expect during fall/winter.
And fall, fall whether is coming.
I got into the "Marlisa needs to clean, organize, and pack up her life."
Saying Goodbye. I don't like saying that seven letter word.

I had a moment today. A short, but sweet moment. A feeling overwhelmed me while I watched my ward have their last pool/goodbye party. I looked at everyone and smiled, knowing that I made good friends with wonderful people. They have all been good influences to me. I have been strengthened by their examples and firm testimonies of The Gospel of Jesus Christ. It was after this sweet moment, that I felt rejuvenated and ready to take on the new adventures that lie ahead. It was short, but sweet.

I must bid my farewells to you wonderful people that I've had the pleasure to get to know this year. Thank you for being such a wonderful friend to me, a wonderful example, and for all the encouragement and kindness you've shown to me. Words will never be able to fully express my gratitude and admiration towards you. Like my work always says, when people leave, "Good luck in your future endeavors!"

"May the sun shine, all day long,
everything go right, and nothing wrong.
May those you love bring love back to you,
and may all the wishes you wish come true!"
– Irish Blessing

Here's to the new memories I will make, the challenges I will face, and the people I will meet. I am ready to follow-up on my goals for this year and get ready to wrap up 2012. I'm ready to learn! I'm excited. Very excited.
