Summer days

Today was a beautiful summer day! I helped paint my brother and sister in-laws house. I mowed the lawn for the FIRST time ever. I roasted marshmallows in my parents back yard. Sarah is a genius and provided Nutella spread instead of chocolate bars for the S'mores. Yum! I have been covered in paint and smelled like a grass and fire. I don't enjoy being dirty and smelling terrible. But I took pride in knowing that I worked hard today. I even got a tan! It really was nice to be outside today! I am pretty much cooped up inside all day during the week, so it was real treat!
Last night, Sarah helped me set up my very own budget plan that WORKS! I LOVE IT! Mvelopes is the bomb! It's wonderful! I feel grown up using it!
My race is in three weeks from today! I am nervous. Very nervous!!!I know I'm going to want to shoot myself after it's done.
I'm excited that tomorrow is Sunday. I sure do love Sundays! I really need a pick me up! Here's to a day of rest and day to dedicate to my Heavenly Father!
Oh! Who's excited for the solar eclipse tomorrow night? I am so, so, so excited!!! Did I ever tell you that I love astronomy! Star gazing is my very favorite thing to do in the summer! When I was little, I wanted to work for NASA! I really wanted to study astronomy and become an astronaut. Ha, craziness! Anyways, this solar eclipse that is happening tomorrow will be great!
Way to go Cougars! The rugby team did awesome! Way to become National champs! Goodnight world!
